Empowering Unemployed Health Graduates
Gorau Health Workers Volunteers will equip unemployed graduates of health studies with the necessary skills and resources to contribute to Gada Goronyo Local Government Areas healthcare landscape.
Expanding Healthcare Access
By establishing a network of Gorau Health Workers Volunteers in rural and underserved communities, it will significantly expand access to quality healthcare services in Gada and Goronyo Local Government Areas.
Combating Quackery
Gorau Health Workers Volunteers will promote safe drug delivery and combat quackery by providing formal training and certification to program participants, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
Programme Implementation
Registration and Selection
A transparent and inclusive registration process will be conducted to identify and select eligible participants from Gada and Goronyo LGAs. Two Hundred (100) beneficiaries per LGA.
Comprehensive Orientation
Participants will undergo an orientation program designed to equip them with the expertise required to manage patients and outreach programmes. This training will cover topics such as medication management, record-keeping, financial management.
Financial Empowerment
Each volunteer will benefit from a stipend for transport monthly.
Groundbreaking Flag-off Ceremony
Hon. Bashir Usman Gorau will launch the scheme through a groundbreaking flag-off ceremony where the Medications packages will be distributed to volunteers.
